Wellness and Nutrition Workshop with Rachel

Do you ever feel stressed out about eating before/after yoga? What to eat? When to eat? How much water should you drink? On March 28th, you’ll have the chance to meet with our very own yoga teacher and in-house nutrition coach, Rachel Kaplan where she’ll be walking you through a 60 mins workshop on proper nutrition for maximum results on and off the mat. 

Although yoga can most certainly help transform a person’s health, Rachel saw a need in her yoga community to coach her students about how they were fueling their bodies to gain maximum results from their practice. She decided to go back to school and earn her 2nd degree in Food and Nutrition Sciences. In 2017 she graduated from University of Alabama and has chosen the path of Holistic Health Coach.

Currently, she works with professionals, all over the world, to explore what’s holding them back from living their version of good health and helping them shed light on what action steps they can take that will bring about positive change. Come to the workshop to learn more about what proper nutrition looks like for the consistent hot yogi practitioner.

What you can expect at the workshop:

– 10 mins Ancient Tibetan Breathing exercise to ground the mind

– learn the difference between “diet” and “clean eating”

  • learn how to find out what foods serve YOUR body (psst…it’s not the same for everyone)
