PLEASE NOTE: PLEASE REFER TO ANY UPDATED GOVERNOR MANDATES OUR MOST UP TO DATE POLICIES AS THESE CHANGE RAPIDLY.
Our yogis are our family. Because of this, we must take care of you. So, when we sat down to put new safety measures in place, we went above and beyond the recommended CDC Guidelines. Keep scrolling to see the logistics of our new plan. Keep in mind, this is just a start. As we learn more, we’ll be constantly fine-tuning and updating our rules and regulations as we go.
The safety of our community has always been our top priority. Now, we’re even more focused on it. To set the tone for our studio, we’ve made a few changes to how we’ll operate. Relax – it’s all designed to keep our yogis, staff, and teachers safe.
Here are the changes you can expect:
New Ionizers installed into ERV and HVAC
We’ve upgraded! Read about our new ionizers installed into the ERV in the Mountain Room as well our 3 HVAC units. The air is always fresh and never recycled. Read about the inline GPS Ionizers here.
Top-grade disinfectant & more frequent cleaning.
Staff will use a disinfectant proven to kill viruses like our good friend COVID-19 in all common areas before & after check-ins. We’ll also be cleaning the studio from top to bottom twice as often per week.
Disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
After every class, we will disinfect the yoga floors, doorknobs, handles, rails, light switches, sanitizing stations, cubbies, bathrooms, sinks, toilets, benches, front desk, keyboards, computers, phones & instructor equipment.
New waiver plus health waiver.
For now we ask that you sign a health waiver agreeing that you are currently healthy and have not been exposed to Covid within 14 days to the best of your knowledge. You will also need to fill out our in studio waiver just one time. If you are sniffly, please refrain from coming to class. Our late cancellation fee will be waived if you are unwell.
High touch amenities.
For the time being, we won’t be providing any blocks, or straps. Please bring your own supplies.
Rental mats and rental towels are $2 each.
Cancellation policy.
Spots are limited now more than ever. So, you must cancel at least 6 hours before class to avoid a $15 Late cancel fee or $25 no show fee. If we can fill your spot we will waive the fee, if you NO-SHOW without cancelling the fee is $25.
If you are sniffly, please refrain from coming to class. Our late cancellation fee will be waived if you are unwell.
(Outdoor classes require 3 hour notice of cancellation.)
Please Note: You must arrive on time or your spot may be forfeited to someone on the waitlist or on standby. We are not always fully staffed behind the desk, so arriving late may mean arriving to a locked door, booooooooo. So please arrive on time. In emergency you may call ahead 828-299-7003.
Hands-free sign up, check-in, and practice.
We encourage you to wait until 15 minutes before class begins to arrive at the studio to allow us time to sanitize. If you arrive earlier than this, staff may ask you to wait outside until the previous class has exited entirely and the room has been disinfected.
Please adhere to safe distancing while shopping for retail or while taking breaks during class.
Shower access and lockers.
Showers & lockers are now available. Please maintain distancing as much as possible and be smart and respectful to each other.
Studio retail shop.
Our retail collection is still available, but we ask that you avoid touching items as much as possible. And if you try something on, please give it to a staff member to set aside for a period of time before restocking.
Retail returns.
Even though we won’t allow trying on items before buying, we will still accept returns for store credit on non sale items. If anyone does return an item, we won’t put it back on the floor until deemed safe by apparel industry standards. We will not accept a return if tags have been removed or items have been washed or damaged.
If you’ve tested positive for COVID-19, or have knowingly come into close contact with someone who has,
we ask that you do not come to the studio for 14 days post symptoms or until you’ve tested negative for COVID-19.
If you fill Kangen water please sanitize before touching knobs.
Limit person to person contact.
No hugs, high-fives, handshakes, etc. You know the drill. For now, this is the best way to take care of our HYA fam.
Hands on assists will be mostly avoided.
It might be a bit overwhelming at first. Just breathe. Trust us, as soon as you roll out your mat, you’ll find yourself back in that familiar place you know & love. The sanctuary you’ve been needing more than ever is here for you once again. We can’t wait to see you.
