What is HIIT?
HIIT stands for High-Intensity Interval Training, a dynamic workout method that includes short bursts of intense exercise, alternating with less intense recovery periods. During those intense bursts, you’ll be pushing your limits at about 80 to 95 percent of your estimated maximum heart rate. Here’s what HIIT can do for you:
- Cardio: Boost your cardiovascular health, increase endurance, and help with weight management.
- HIIT: Achieve maximum calorie burn in less time, enhance your metabolic rate, and build incredible stamina.

Dive into an interactive HIIT master class with Grey! This workshop will focus on perfecting HIIT exercises for each quadrant of the body to optimize muscle training.
- Alignment Breakdown for All: We’ll kick off with 30 minutes dedicated to perfecting the alignment and engagement of muscle groups through common HIIT exercises, covering the lower body, core, and upper body.
- Strategic Approaches: Grey will introduce two key strategies for your HIIT practice: focusing on cardiovascular endurance or muscle engagement.
- Inclusive Options: Experience both low and high-impact exercises, with a variety of options and variations to suit every participant’s needs.
Additionally, we’ll engage in a group discussion on the mental stamina cultivated through our HIIT practice in classes like Inferno and Yoga BLAST. You may discover surprising and effective approaches to your practice!
