We would love to introduce you to two of HYA’s Artists in Residence (AiR), whose art is gracing the walls of our studio!
Neil Goss and Laura Krueger are two talented creators who are also an essential part of our community. Not only do they create on the mat, but off the mat as well.
Neil connects yoga and art to practice and discipline. Having to sit at the loom for extended periods of time can be hard, just in the way that showing up to your practice can be challenging.
Laura gets inspired to create during her yoga practice. The feeling that yoga evokes, that blissful trancelike state, is what encourages and influences Laura. Her art often features organic lines of the body and shapes that are linked with asana. Pranayama (breath-work) and meditation often allow her to visualize her color palates.
