The Road Back to You: Sunday Meditation Circle

By October 11, 2025No Comments

Would you like to add meditation to your yoga practice but don’t know where to start? Or do you have a meditation practice and would like to deepen it? Or maybe you’re on-again, off-again and would like the support of a community? HYA’s new Sunday Meditation Circle is for you.

Starting November 2, at 5:45pm following our Restore class on Sunday evenings, we begin a weekly meditation circle. It’s a chance to turn inward and share a practice that will deepen your connection to yourself.

Led by experienced yoga and meditation teacher Lynn Zinser, this will be a 30-minute Sadhana incorporating three powerful meditation techniques: mantra, breathwork and seated meditation.

We will use a mantra for a cycle of 40 days to call a particular energy into our practice. A breathwork exercise will follow the mantra to ground into our bodies and conclude with a 16-minute seated meditation, gently guided to help you quiet your mind and connect with your internal peace.

No meditation experience is necessary! This group is for everyone, whether you are brand new to meditation or have a regular practice. Meditating in a group is so powerful! It’s also wonderful to combine this with the Restore class that begins at 4:30p. There will be only a short 15-minute break in between.

The first session, on November 2, will be 45 minutes and serve as an introduction to the sadhana, where you will learn the mantra and breathing techniques.

Please bring a meditation cushion or any props to help facilitate your comfort during meditation.
