As the Winter Solstice approaches—a time of reflection, release, and renewal—I invite you to Celebrate Your Journey with us. Together, let’s honor the year’s lessons, let go of challenges, and create space for what’s to come.
Due to the amazing response to last year’s event, we’re thrilled to bring back the Solstice Salutation Revolution! Join Heather as she leads 108 Sun Salutations and align yourself with the powerful new year to come.
Date: Saturday, December 21, 2024
Location: Mountain Room, 5:30 – 7:30 PM
Lightly heated at 90–95°F, with music and limited spaces
Here’s a Glimpse of the Experience:
We’ll move through the salutations in four rounds of twenty-seven, with moments of grounding stillness between each round—a gentle pause to refresh, like a deep breath between waves.
Sets Within Each Round: Each round of twenty-seven is divided into three sets of nine salutations, followed by child’s pose for a few calming breaths before the next wave.
Setting & Atmosphere: Held in the Mountain Room at a cozy 90–95°F, our practice space will feature dim lighting, music, and plenty of room to flow as one. Modifications will be provided to support you at every level
Nourishment and Reflection:
After our 108 Sun Salutations, take a moment to rest, reflect, and reconnect. We’ll be serving warm golden milk and a nutritious food offering to provide you with nourishment and a chance to integrate the experience. This is a time for quiet journaling, connecting with others, or simply enjoying the cozy atmosphere in peaceful silence.
Why the Winter Solstice & 108 Sun Salutations?
The Winter Solstice marks the return of light, symbolizing growth and new possibilities. And the number 108, revered across science and spirituality, echoes universal patterns and connections between the sun, moon, earth, and human body. It’s a powerful number for grounding intentions and creating alignment.
So, come with your strength, intention, and openness to share in this transformative experience. This is a moment to honor yourself, release what no longer serves, and step forward with clarity and purpose as we approach a new cycle.
