Be Your Best Yogi: Etiquette Reminders

By January 29, 2025No Comments

As we continue to nurture our beautiful yoga community, we want to take a moment to remind everyone of our yoga etiquette guidelines. These practices help create a respectful and considerate environment for all. Here’s a quick summary for your reference:

  • Be On Time: Please arrive punctually to help maintain the flow of the class.
  • Get Comfortable: Remember to remove your shoes before entering the studio.
  • Get Unplugged: Leave your cell phones and smartwatches outside to keep our space focused.
  • Clear Communication: Inform your teacher of any injuries or if you need to leave early.
  • Be Mindful: Don’t enter the yoga room until 10min past the last session, this ensures instructors can properly scan and clean the room.
  • Scent Sensitivities: Please avoid using strong fragrances to accommodate everyone.
  • Lavender Wash Cloths: Use your hands to indicate if you’d like a lavender washcloth after class. Palms up to receive and palms down to skip. Please return them to bins outside the doors after class.
  • Embrace Quiet and Stillness: Avoid talking during class and exit quietly if necessary. Be mindful of noise when entering or leaving. After class, be extra quiet for those remaining in a longer savasana.
  • Keep it Clean: Clean up your area and return any rental items after use.
  • Limit Shower Time: Keep post-class showers to a maximum of 2 minutes.

Thank you for being a wonderful part of our community! Your efforts in following these reminders help ensure a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone.
