We Built it for Hot Yoga!

Hot Yoga Asheville is the premiere hot yoga studio in Asheville. With 5,000 square feet- including 2 hot yoga rooms, and spacious showers and changing rooms, far infrared heat and fresh air exchange, and supportive antimicrobial yoga flooring; Our studio has been custom built specifically for all your hot yoga needs.

We Use Far Infrared Heat

Most yoga studios use forced air to heat their studio space, but at Hot Yoga Asheville we use FAR INFRARED HEAT. Similar to the way the sun warms the earth, far infrared heat aids you in your healing process- They even use it to warm premature babies. It is safe, quiet, and deeply penetrating to help stimulate cell regeneration, blood flow, metabolism and relieves muscle pain, spasms, joint pain and stiffness. The infrared heat stimulates your body to move your blood more quickly throughout, so while you exercise you are more effectively bringing fresh oxygen to your cells. (HYA is also equipped with a state of the art energy recovery ventilator that brings FRESH AIR automatically according to CO2 levels! So breathe deep! You are safe.)

Wide Variety of Teachers

All of our teachers are experienced and extremely well trained. Many have been with us since we opened 10 years ago. Know that you are in good hands with the best long standing and dedicated instructors in Asheville. Owner of HYA, Adi Westerman, has been voted Best Yoga Teacher in WNC 2017

Easy Parking and Highway Access

I can’t wait!! We welcome Asheville Yoga Festival presenter/musician Brad Ellsworth of Druminyasa® and Addie Jo Bannerman to Hot Yoga Asheville for a unique event combining Yin yoga with Live Drumming, dubbed “drum.YIN.yasa.”

Come join us for a 90 minute non heated Yin to Live Drumming experience connecting rhythm of breath and heartbeat to the drums. Yin yoga brings us back to our Taoist roots through meditation. Yin yoga balances the mental and physical body by stretching the connective tissues to increase pranic flow, or energy flow of the body. Holding stillness in Yin postures creates a strong meditative practice, strengthening and releasing tension in the physical and mental body.

The hypnotic soundscapes and percussive rhythms from Druminyasa will allow practitioners to free their minds from distractions when holding these postures (typically held between 2-5 minutes), allowing participants to go even deeper into their meditative state. The beat of the drums will call in good energy, clear out bad energy, and put you in a shamanic trance.

As featured on CBS “Try out Druminyasa for a one-of-a-kind yoga experience,” and The Washington Times and appearing at festivals (Asheville Yoga Festival, Wanderlust and Floyd Yoga Jam), studios and special events, Brad Ellsworth of Druminyasa has been playing drums and percussion for over 25 years. A yoga practitioner and teacher, Brad founded Druminyasa by connecting his love for rhythm, drums and movement.
